Tycho Speaker, Ph.D. President and Founder of Capsulent is a physical chemist with a diverse background encompassing pharmaceutical science, spectroscopy, materials science, and more.  After a decade in Silicon Valley, he returned to his original pharmacy background to start Capsulent.  Here his work has focused on developing novel and creative solutions to formulation challenges using a novel thin-skin microcapsulation techonology.  This work has produced a variety of exciting new personal care formulation approaches.  Beyond the Health and Beauty arena, Capsulent develops advanced transdermal delivery systems in conjunction with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, including vaccine and gene-silencing applications.  Dr. Speaker is additionally involved in ongoing academic research work in conjunction with researchers at Stanford University and the University of Cincinnati Department of Pharmacy.
